Our Work

The North Wessex Downs National Landscape team, together with and on behalf of the National Landscape Partnership, works to conserve and enhance the landscape, communities, wildlife and cultural heritage of the landscape.

Central to our work is the statutory AONB Management Plan, which we prepare every five years on behalf of the Partnership.

We seek to implement the policies and objectives of the AONB Management Plan by collaborating with a network of organisations, businesses, farmers, landowners and local communities.  Together, we develop, lead and enable a range of partnerships, projects and initiatives.
