Our Work

The AONB team, together with and on behalf of the AONB Partnership, works to conserve and enhance the landscape, communities, wildlife and cultural heritage of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Central to our work is the statutory AONB Management , which we prepare every five years on behalf of the AONB Partnership.

We seek to implement the policies and objectives of the AONB Management Plan by collaborating with a network of organisations, businesses, farmers, landowners and local communities.  Together, we develop, lead and enable a range of partnerships, projects and initiatives.
