We start our leisurely walk at the quiet and friendly village of Peasemore, near Newbury. We hope you will be delighted by the varied landscape – open fields, wildflower meadows and woodland habitats. In order to truly feel the benefit of being in the beautiful outdoors, we will stop at various points to observe, absorb, enjoy and reflect – to feel the calm. At the same time, there is a wonderful chance to build new friendships!

If there is time, anyone wishing to can pop into St Barnabas Church where there will be an exhibition celebrating VE Day.

Please do bring a picnic lunch, which we will have at the end of the walk at the quaint cricket pavilion at Peasemore. Free hot and cold refreshments will be available at the pavilion, courtesy of the Sulham Estate, Pangbourne. If you’d like to bring your own folding chair or picnic blanket, please do so.

There are at least four inclines, which some may find challenging, but we will take them very slowly.
