Three out of every four households in the UK now buy organic food, according to the Soil Association. Here in the North Wessex Downs AONB there are many producers of organic food, including one of the industry leaders – Sheepdrove Farm, near Lambourn.
Buying locally-grown organic produce helps people to eat with the seasons, reconnect with the land, understand where food comes from, and enjoy local specialities.
