Carvers Hill Farm

Carvers Hill Farm is home to a superb wildflower and butterfly garden with over 150-labelled wild plants and a tree collection with every native British tree and shrub.

Here students of all ages can brush up on their identification of native plants. The farm offers schools and the general public the chance to buy wildflower seeds and plants. The visitor centre has displays about the farm and a picnic area where you can enjoy the wildlife pond.

In addition, the 70 hectare farm has sheep and corn crops in a valley overlooked by chalk downland. There are opportunities to learn about the animals, crops and wildflowers grown for seed as well as habitat restoration.

How to book:
The farm is open from mid-May to the end of August. School visits are free and must be pre-booked.
