Langley Chase Organic Farm

Langley Chase Organic Farm, 40 hectare family farm with livestock. The farm is mainly grassland grazed by the rare breed Manx Loghtan sheep. This breed has been around since at least the Iron Age. It is characterised by impressive horns and a dark brown fleece.

The farm produces organic lamb and mutton, sheepskins and wool for sale at the farm shop. Conservation is important on the farm with many of landscape features being improved. The old grassland stills bears the historic ridge and furrow pattern. Activities for primary schools include lambing days, pond dipping and tree studies.

How to book:
The farm is open all year. Visits are free and must be pre-booked.
