Weir Farm

Weir Farm is a small family farm with 22 hectares of grassland supporting a cattle and a horse livery business. The farm has small fields, surrounded by hedgerows, with the Letcombe Brook flowing through the farm.

The main interest is the beautiful wildflower meadows. In spring these are covered in cowslips, and in summer there's yellow rattle, orchids, meadow crane’s-bill, lady’s bedstraw, broomrape and many other wildflowers. These attract butterflies such as the Common Blue, Speckled Wood and Gatekeepers.

Other features include traditional farm buildings and an assortment of machinery. The farm offers free, fun, interesting and educational visits for any groups of 6 or more.

How to book:
The farm is open all year. Visits are free and must be pre-booked.
