
Cross Lanes Fruit Farm is a small orchard with a fruit shop near Reading growing apples, plums and pears and walnuts. This thriving business aims to provide the best of British fruit with taste and flavour being the main priorities. All stages of production can be seen and guided walks are tailor made to suit the group. Visits can last from 1 hour to half a day. Over the season, which runs from late August until Christmas you can experience apple picking and apple tasting with different tastes and flavours each week.
Apple and Blossom day events are open to the public with guided walks, apple tasting and local produce for sale, children's games and a quiz to make it a day out for all the family. Phone for details.

How to book:
The farm is open for guided visits all year round.
Apples are only available from August -January. The autumn term is best for younger children.
There is a charge for guided visits and these must be pre-booked.
Free entry to the farm shop in season and on public open days.
