Down Barn Farm is a 40 hectare, organic grassland farm set in a hollow of the Downs just south of the Ridgeway National Trail. It is home to a prize winning herd of pedigree Beef Shorthorns (the oldest recorded cattle breed) and some very smart Tamworth pigs. Wildlife is abundant including hares and cowslips. There are also some horses and various poultry. Other enterprises include a thriving Bed and Breakfast business catering for walkers and riders using the Ridgeway and all the marvellous off road riding routes around the farm.
